Part Time Social Media Specialist Job Primary Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage a comprehensive social media strategy to promote library services, programs, and events.
  • Create engaging content (graphics, videos, written posts) tailored to students’ interests.
  • Manage social media accounts (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn).
  • Monitor social media, respond to inquiries, and maintain a positive online presence.
  • Collaborate with library staff to share information and resources.
  • Assist with additional library projects.

Part Time Social Media Specialist Job Qualifications

  • High School diploma (minimum).
  • Experience managing social media for an organization (preferably educational or library setting).
  • Proficient in video editing software for social media (Adobe Premiere Rush, CapCut, InShot, VivaVideo).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Creative, detail-oriented, and organized.
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively.
  • Adaptable to changing priorities and deadlines.
