Overnight Staff Pharmacist Job at Amazon Responsibilities
- Ensure the highest quality of medications through thorough verification for both individual packets and bulk orders.
- Collaborate with colleagues to maintain a rigorous quality assurance process throughout the entire shift.
- Oversee various pharmacy tasks like handling medication returns, substitutions, and canister approvals.
- Provide clinical expertise by answering questions and offering guidance to other healthcare professionals.
- Investigate and resolve medication errors to maintain patient safety.
- Compile and deliver crucial pharmacy information to the distribution team.
- Uphold the highest standards by adhering to all company protocols, federal/state regulations, and laws.
- Work collaboratively with the pharmacy team to ensure exceptional customer satisfaction.
- Verify prescriptions for accuracy.

Overnight Staff Pharmacist Job at Amazon Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
- Adaptable schedule and willingness to be on-call
- Bachelor’s or Doctorate degree in Pharmacy
- Minimum one year of experience in retail, long-term care, or mail-order pharmacy settings
- Active and unrestricted pharmacist license in the state of Florida (additional licenses might be required)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree
- At least one year of experience as a licensed pharmacist
- Prior experience in long-term care or retail pharmacy settings
Important Note:
This is not a remote position. You must be a licensed pharmacist in the state of Florida and able to commute to the Orlando, FL facility.
