Remote IT Support Technician Job Responsibilities
- Technical Support:
- Be the first point of contact for all user-level IT questions.
- Respond to user needs in a timely and efficient manner.
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues.
- Install and configure hardware and software components.
- Repair or replace damaged computer hardware (occasional).
- Client and colleague interaction:
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with clients from various departments and executive levels.
- Actively listen to user needs, understand their technical problems, and implement solutions.
- Documentation and Record Keeping:
- Manage technical documentation.
- Maintain accurate and detailed descriptions of services performed while on a service call.
- Additional duties:
- Assist with installation of network and camera cabling (occasional).
- Assist with installation of wired/wireless networks, security camera systems, phone systems, and door access systems (occasional).
